| PROJECT DESCRIPTION: | This project
involved
construction of a new water well drilled into the Carrizo Sands Aquifer. The
well was 18 inches in diameter and 536 feet deep. The well consisted of
pressure cemented 10-inch steel casing and 282 L.F. of gravel packed stainless
steel screen. A 40 HP submersible well pump was installed rated at 200 gpm.
The well pumping test found the well capable of producing up to 700 gpm. The
wellhead consisted of concrete well pad and discharge piping incorporating
an air release valve, plug valve, water meter, and check valve. |
